GSDBA Receives Grant From Jobing.com

The GSDBA has received an in-kind grant worth $41,600 from Jobing.com, a web-based company that provides employment opportunities to San Diego County residents in all types of industries. The grant is valued in terms of marketing support that will be furnished to the GSDBA over a two-year period.

The package includes a link to the GSDBA’s web site on Jobing.com, as well as postings of GSDBA events, banner ads and a GSDBA profile video. The company will also assist in providing sought-after speakers for GSDBA functions, which include best-selling authors and well-known business leaders.

"Our partnership with Jobing.com is an exciting way for the GSDBA to reach beyond our community to other San Diego county communities with diverse workforces," said Joyce Marieb, the organization’s chief executive officer.

Jobing.com General Manager Dave Carns says the benefits are twofold. "This is a huge success for both parties, as it allows us to tap further into the gay and lesbian community and help create opportunities for both employers and those seeking jobs."
